Doing Good!

So update time. I have started going to Results Personal Training a couple times a week. I started going on 5/19/10. I love it!!! They do a lot of circuit training with weights and cardio combined. I can't believe how fast my muscles are developing. I have already lost 7 lbs!!!! This week I have been limiting my soda intake and my sugar intake. I have been trying to keep tabs on what, when and why I'm eating. I am still having trouble drinking enough water everyday. Working on that this week. I have been so sore from the workouts too. After the first day my abs were on fire for 2 days. I am going on Friday, excited to see how it goes. I am starting my food journal tomorrow. I need to do the food journal to see exactly what I am eating before I can truly change my eating habits. I already know that the Dr. Pepper has got to go. I am doing better with not eating fast food. Well thats it for now. Current weight 245lbs. Current goal is 20 lbs by June 15th.

Feels good to be on track!!!

So I am very excited to report that I did make it to the gym last Thursday morning! It was amazing!!! I forgot how much of a high it gives me when I workout in the morning. I was also in disbelief at how long that high lasted! My hubby and I left the gym at about 10am and I was still riding high well into the 5pm hour!!! The weekend kind of got away from me with the exercise, I still did pretty well with the eating and drinking water. Saturday my church had its 18th annual mother daughter banquet. It was awesome! I have officially made Sundays my day off from working out so I did not make it to the gym. Monday, my hubby and I did go to the gym after he got of work around 10pm. We did upper body weights. (I'd rather do cardio!) Today we did not go to the gym but we still got a work out. We rearranged our office/living room. We moved desks, a couch, tv all the normal office/living room stuff. My arms are so sore. So tomorrow we plan on hitting the gym in the morning for some intense cardio! I am just still ecstatic that I am still so pumped about exercise and going to the gym! Now all I need is to start working on my TAN! Oh and something else NEW: I'm eating eggs! Until recently I hated the taste of eggs, but needed protein for breakfast so I have been eating them and I am beginning to become fond of them. It will take time and discipline but I am COMMITTED to this new lifestyle of eating healthy and exercising!!!!

Making Progress!!

So to update from my last post. I made it to the gym last Thursday and this Monday. I know its not everyday... yet. I did however go out dancing with my Hubby last Friday for my 23rd birthday, that was a blast! I have every intention of going to the gym tomorrow morning. When I used to workout, I loved doing it in the morning before my day really got busy that way it is out of the way, no excuse to not go later in the day. I am just so excited that I have been drinking water and monitoring what I have been eating. By the way my current weight is 252 lbs.
Short-term Goal : 20 Lbs in May
Long-term Goal : 70 Lbs total by October (my brothers wedding 10/9) this goal would put under 200 lbs that would be amazing!
My son took his first few steps this past Sunday, YAY!!! So the chasing is soon to follow.
