Still going kinda strong

Hello all. I am sorry it has been a while since I have written. I am doing good. I have been doing great with drinking water since I found that Crystal Light drink mixes are really good. I love the lemonade flavor. The scale hasn't moved in either direction since I last wrote. Although I have noticed that my body feels smaller and my clothes feel looser. I think it is probably time to add exercise into my routine. I am not going to start exercise until April 1st since my last day on the job is March 31st. I am going to be a stay home mommy for my son. I am very excited to start this new lifestyle of healthy mommy. Also, I will start with cardiovascular training 3 days a week for a few weeks just to get started and then add in 3 days of strength training. My so called diet is not one of strictness or denying myself. If I want something that is not good for me I will have a little and fulfill my craving for that item. I have been eating more healthy foods since my son is eating more table food items. I have been having veggies and fruits just about everyday since I have to give them to him as well. I am very excited to continue my journey and I hope that you will join me in your own quest to be fit in any aspect of your life, whether it is physically, mentally, spiritual, or financially. I encourage you to reach high to accomplish your dreams.
Truly excited,

More Difficult Than I Thought It Would Be

So I have kinda fallen off the wagon this week. I haven't been very good with water and so much for working on portion control. Not to mention a lot out to eat this week. I really need to work on the food portions and the type of food I am eating. Also I need to refocus on my water drinking. And I really want to add exercise in to my routine slowly. And even though this week has been rough the scale went down 2lbs. Its not a major loss but it is nice to see the number go down.
Just a side note if you have really dry cracked feet, try HeelTastic, as seen on TV, it is awesome!!!

Well I certainly hope that I can refocus and reignite my passion to become healthy and fit!
Thank you,
~RustiAnn

Not Crazy

Hello Readers,
Well I have decided to not go completely crazy over my new plan. Instead of starting everything at once, I have decided to make small weekly changes. This first week is to increase my water intake which I have been doing pretty well on. I try to drink my beloved Dr. Pepper with my lunch and dinner, milk with breakfast and water any other time I am thirsty. I have noticed an increase in my energy level and ability to do more things in the day directly related to the amount of water I take in everyday. I have not yet begun to count the ounces or count bottles or glasses however I know for sure that I am drinking more water and less soda. This week something that has started to happen naturally for is that I am going to bed earlier and getting up earlier. Most days so far this week I have been in bed by 11pm except one night when I went to be at almost 2am. I hope that this cycle of sleep will continue and soon I hope to be going to bed by 10pm on most nights. I am thinking that next weeks change I will continue with water, sleep, and add on portion control in my meals. I know that my idea of a serving size is not the correct size. This week is a little emotional for me my son is turning ONE on Thursday March 4th. I am excited for his growth yet Im not really ready for him to grow up so fast. It feels like yesterday that I found out I was pregnant with him and now he is ONE. Well to all my readers and fellow Healthy Lifestyle seekers, I send you encouragement and I BELIEVE in you.
