1. What have you done to achieve your goals this week?
blah...moved $300 to savings. 

  2. What have you done to make yourself feel fabulous?
Pedicure with my bestie Kelly on Saturday.

  3. Do you listen to music when you work out? What gets you fired up?
Yes. Pink, fergie, Ashlee Simpson ect. The older before breakdown, 
Britney spears stuff. 

  4. What's your guilty pleasure music? How does it make you feel?
The Corrs, Backstreet boys. Just reminds me of my teenage years.

  5. If today were a song what song would it be?
My Give a Damn's Busted, by Jo Dee Messina. T.O.M. is effecting my mood today.

Fire Up For Fall Week 5!

Fire Up For Fall Challenge!

This was awesome!!! And I didn't fall out so kudos to me!


1. What have you done this week to achieve your goals?
Goals:
1. Workout 4 times a week. nope only once

2. Journal food, workouts and weigh ins. Weigh ins will be once a week.
journaling food has been pretty good, workouts, there are none to 
journal and weigh ins are documented on blog and myfitnesspal.

3. Stay on course with our budget. We are on course!

4. Cash ONLY! eh, don't ask!

5. Become an ex soda drinker. again, don't ask.

2. What have you done to make yourself feel fabulous?
hot air baloon "ride" and spending a weekend disconnected from technology.

3. It's half way through the challenge, you can change 1 or more of your
   goals (max of 3) if you want to....what are you going to do and why?
Not changing any. I really need to accomplish all these goals.

4. What's your worst bad habit and have you ever tried to tackle it? Do you want to?
Laziness and procrastination. Yes I want to but as a procrastinater it 
doesn't come easy!

5. Fun Time: Would you rather have Burgers for feet or Sausages for Fingers?
Burgers for feet for sure.

Weekend Away!!!

Hello All,
This weekend my little family is taking off on a short road trip to see my Daddy. I will be offline for two glorious days. I have been longing for a trip somewhere that is technology free since about 3 weeks after we came back from the beach in July. I am looking forward to this weekend for numerous reasons.
I have packed up workout clothes, my ipod, and have every intention of taking advantage of the peaceful hill country scenery by taking walks/runs(more walking than running) as much as possible. We will only be there Friday evening, Saturday and early Sunday morning. We will be heading home about 930 on Sunday morning to make it to the second service at church. I am hoping to get a walk/run in on Friday evening and at least one on Saturday. I am also excited for this weekend because I will be taking some time to work on homework and studying without having to watch my son at the same time. My hubby has promised to take over the child for an amount of time (hopefully about 2 to 3 hours at a minimum) for me to work on my English paper that is essentially due next Tuesday(peer review) and is due to the teacher on Thursday. 
In general I'm just excited to see my Daddy and Betty since we haven't been to see them since June!!! Almost 4 months since we've seen each other. They are ecstatic and they were talking about all the food they want to make for us :( I am packing breakfast foods, snacks and some light lunch fare. I am not going to be completely rude by not eating any of the meals they cook. I will however be very careful about how much. I am taking fruits, yogurt, rice cakes, reduced fat peanut butter and corn flakes. I am hoping to fill up on my healthy stuff so that when dinner time comes around I won't be that hungry thus justifying a small meal. I am weighing in with Allan and the TDDChallenge tomorrow seeing as how I will not only be technology free but also scale free on Sunday. I have also packed my journal so that when I return on Sunday I can input my food and activity on myfitnesspal. I also plan to reflect and write down my thoughts and reasons and what I want out of weight loss and healthy living. I hope to come back refreshed, re-focused and with plenty of blog material!

Fire Up For Fall Week 4!

1. What have you done this week to achieve your goals?
Goal 1. Workout 4 times a week. I did not work out last week
at all. I need to get to it.
Goal 2. Journal food, workouts and weigh ins. Weigh ins will be once a week.
I have been using MyFitnssPal to document my food and water intake. When I 
start working out I will be documenting that there as well.
Goal 3. Stay on course with our budget.
We are fairly on course with out budget. I have our next paycheck all planned
and written out. Now we just have to focus on sticking to it.
Goal 4. Cash ONLY!
2 steps forward 3 steps back. Paid off a credit card last week, opened 
and charged about 115 on a Kohl's charge this week. Don't ask. It will be 
paid off by mid november.
Goal 5. Become an ex soda drinker.
I am still struggling with this. Dr. Pepper is my nemesis and Diet Pepsi
is just a filler for it to avoid the calories. I really need to get off
the caffiene.

2. What have you done to make yourself feel fabulous?
I don't remember what if anything I did last week for this one.                                  

3. What is your go to food or activity when you've had a bad day?
Food is definently something cheesy so mexican or italian. 

4. What's the last thing you did that you were really proud of?
Technically this should be for next week but since I am late on 
writing this I'll use it now. I found a capri running skirt by Fila
that fits me!! I am so excited to use it. 

5. Fun Time:  What was your favorite school subject, and your least
                              favorite? Why?
My favorite subject in High School was actually Chemistry. My teacher
had a huge impact on my life. I wish I could find her so I could thank
her.

I weighed in yesterday for the TDDC
254.5 so a loss of 1.5lbs. Although it is only being counted at a 1lb loss. 
I'm okay with it. I know I wasn't completely on plan and did not start exercising last week. On to a new week.

Fire Up Week 3!

I love these boots! I can't wait for my calves to be small enough to fit into them!

1. What have you done this week to help get to your goals?
1. Workout 4 times a week.  worked out twice this week totally 75 minutes. 
2. Journal food, workouts and weigh ins. Weigh ins will be once a week. I am getting better at journaling my food and workouts with myfitnesspal. It has been interesting seeing how the calories add up.
3. Stay on course with our budget. We are doing our best to stay on budget. This week is a pay week so we will see!
4. Cash ONLY! Rocking this one. We have only used our debit cards once in the past two weeks!!!
5. Become an ex soda drinker. Since I have switched to diet for the TDDChallenge I will be cutting them out fairly soon I believe. I don't really care for diet dr pepper and diet pepsi only does so much for me. 
  2. What have you done to make yourself feel fabulous?
Exfoliated and moisturized my legs. It felt so good!
  3. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? What are your goals? Ambitions?
Hopefully done with school working in an accounting department or payroll. Possibly have one more child and have our own house.
  4. Give us a tip or a fact. About anything, what is something great you've
  heard that everyone should know?
Debt is dumb, CASH is KING!  5. Fun Question: What was your most recent dream that you can remember?
It's been a while since I've a dream that I can remember. I can't recall. 
I can't believe that it is already week 3!
