Beat the Heat Summer Challenge Week Six!

Weight Wars

Revised Challenge Goals:
1. Read my Bible in 90 Days.
2. Lose 20 to 30 pounds.
3. Take vitamins daily.
4. Drink at least 100 ounces of water daily.
5. Start Running.
6. Save up a Baby Emergency Fund: $1000.

1.       What have you done this week to help you achieve your goals?
Took my vitamins 2/7 days. I consumed at least 30 ounces of water a day, it's not 100 but it's a start. As far as starting running goes...if I could find a pair of shoes that fit my feet I would have started this week. I am having to return a 3rd pair of shoes because they are not wide enough for my chunky monkey feet. Any suggestions on shoes for double wide feet??? The baby emergency fund is slowly starting to build up however we will be using some of it to pay for my tuition for Fall.

2.       What have you done this week to make you feel fabulous?
Deep hair conditioning treatment...ooo la la soft hair! I also bought new mascara and eye shadows.

3.       Do you feel you get everything out of your life? Would you like to change things or are you happy where you are (I know a bit deep but I’m thinking about major life achievements this week achieved and not!)
I am getting everything out of life that I can right now. I am actively pursuing my education, married(awesome hubby) and have an amazing son who starts Day School on September 6th.

4.       What’s your ultimate favourite food? Is it healthy? Can you make it healthy?
My favorite healthy food is STRAWBERRIES. Not healthy food is mac and cheese.

5.       Fun Question: What do you want to be when you grow up?
Personal trainer. I also have a passion to help people get out of debt.

  1. Have you tried Brooks runners? They carry very wide and comfy shoes.

Good idea conditioning your hair. I am gonna do that this week. I could use something to tame the straw!

  2. Saucony are good for wide feet, especially the ones that look like they have webbed stuff over the top, if you can buy half a size bigger it allows some swelling space.

  3. I have tried brooks they weren't "tall" enough in the toe box. The saucony fit me in the evening after having other shoes one but the next morning my feet were too swollen for them. I finally found a pair of new balance that work.
