Spring Fever Challenge Week Three!!!

Life's Journey with a Smile

No picture this week. We seriously need a new camera!

What have you done this past week to help you achieve your goals?
We went to the store and bought a bunch of fresh fruit and salad stuff.
I have been doing very good about only eating beef once a week. I had
a cheeseburger on Saturday and on Sunday I could have had a flank steak,
but I chose the pan roasted chicken instead. It was delish.
Reading the bible has shown to be more challenging than I expected it to
be... not because I don't believe it, I DO, wholeheartedly, it seams to be
one thing that gets put at the bottom of the list.
Saving $1000 is HARD. Sadly, this week we would have had it if I hadn't
gone shopping. I MUST LEARN DISCIPLINE!
I have been spending at least 15 minutes quietly before bed almost everday.
We have slept right through morning church the past two sundays and
had plans in the evening. We will be back in church on Easter.

What did you do this past week to make you feel good about yourself?
We spent the weekend having a "stay-cation". My mother in law
had our son for the WHOLE weekend from Friday night to Sunday afternoon.
We spent the weekend eating out at NEW restaurants and shopping.
Ruby Tuesday is crappy, we will not be returning to them. Smashburger
is a great place for a burger and fries, inexpensive too. On Sunday
we enjoyed brunch at a place called Silo with friends. It was amazing!
It was a wonderful weekend, although I think we could've used our time
much better and we definently could have spent less money! I feel so bad
that we spent SSOOOO much money.

Are your SFC goals your ultimate goals or steps to your ultimate goals?
Do you find it easier to set big goals or do you like making mini-goals?
Steps to my ultimate goals. I set both types of goals.

What are some of your ultimate goals, things on your bucket list?
Run a 5K. Have another child. Become a personal trainer.

Fun Question: If you could achieve only one more thing in your life, what would it be?
To have a second child.

  6. @Jess: The salad bar was the best part. The rest of the food I could have done without.
I will be getting a "real" vacay in July when we head down to Port Aransas with another couple for 4 nights sans kiddo! Super exciting!!! Thanks everyone for commenting! I love seeing a number next to the "comments" place!!!
